What if I fall? Oh, but my darling, what if you fly?

E.Hanson

Womanhood and femininity play a big role in my personal life. I am a wholehearted feminist and consider it my duty to contribute to gender equality in the best possible way and to help give taboo topics a voice. My aim is to enable the discussion of topics which are so often kept quiet and support women to rely on their internal eye/ear/feeling with care, mindfulness and self-compassion. New directions cannot be developed in traditional, entrenched structures but require a healthy balance of diverse qualities.

For this reason, I have devoted the core focus of my work and my passion to WOMANHOOD.

ONE-TO-ONE SUPPORT

Deciding whether or not to become a mother is life-changing and multifaceted. The wish to have children may be fulfilled or not be possible. Each woman experiences pregnancy differently and giving birth is a unique experience filled with innumerable emotions. For many mothers, it is this big change (matrescence), that throws them off course after giving birth. These experiences range from unfulfilled expectations to severe depression. For many women, the first time with their child is an enormous burden and a major turning point in their lives.

I would like to give you a safe space where you can talk frankly about whatever you are thinking and feeling. I will support you, perhaps together with your baby or with the whole family. You are the most important person here, it is essential that you rediscover your inner strength and balance.

MOTHER & CHILD GROUP

Bringing a child into the world is one of the most intense experiences in the lives of many women. The period leading up to (and after) childbirth may cause increased psychological stress. A well-guided exchange among affected mothers can be both supportive and nourishing.

Wednesday mornings 10:00 to 11:15

SINGLE MOTHER GROUP

Being a parent may not always go as planned or hoped. Being a single parent has many unique challenges and can be lonely and tiring. An exchange with like-minded people may be supportive and uplifting.

Wednesday mornings 11:30 to 12:45

MISCARRIAGE & STILLBORN CHILDREN GROUP

Even though so many women are faced with a pregnancy loss in their lifetime, it remains a taboo subject. Feelings of guilt and shame are very common. Women need a safe space to be heard and understood, so that they can find a way out of their speechlessness together.

Monday morning 10:00 to 11:15

Metamorphoses

A metamorphosis is a transformation: a shift in appearance or self-realization. A woman’s life is full of phases that favor or even demand change – purely for biological reasons. Each of these transitions is exciting, thrilling, electrifying yet equally frightening, unsettling and stressful. Personal expectations, social norms and gender roles in your surroundings all encourage you to question who you are.

I will be your guide in confronting and going through these transformations along with all their emotions.

  • Transitioning from girlhood to womanhood
  • Discovering sexuality and finding your sexual identity
  • Exploring and reinforcing your role in a partnership
  • Scrutinizing body image and treating yourself with compassion
  • The (un)fulfilled desire to have children, motherhood and the relationship with one’s own mother
  • Menopause: the changing body and its need

Female Empowerment & Strengthening

The problems women face in their lives are frequently completely different from those of their male counterparts. Gender stereotype threats or biases are omnipresent.

We work together to dispel inhibiting beliefs and undertake a journey to find our own values and ideas. I provide you with all the support you need to be authentic, feminine and transformative. True to who you are and how you feel about yourself – with confidence, strength and gentleness.
